The Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) selected Geotechnology to conduct geotechnical investigations for the Fleurissant Parc Place slide evaluation. AFRAM provided civil engineering support services as a subconsultant to Geotechnology, including preparation of design drawings, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and cost estimating. The hydrologic/hydraulic study specifically evaluated Coldwater Creek’s flow volume and velocity during the September 14, 2008 storm event. Additionally, AFRAM developed cost estimates for the remedial alternatives proposed by other team members.
